Infosys is in need of many freshers and for that they are conducting off campus recruitment instead of on campus. We had it in Tagore. The date was 9th march and around 1320 attended the aptitude test. Though the aptitude was easy only 317 or so cleared the aptitude. The logical section was the easiest one. The verbal was a little bit tough for many.
After the announcement of aptitude result (they announced it at the end for my college) i saw many crying faces. I also saw that many were thinking that its the end of everything in their live (many started thinking that they wont get placed in any other company). So the evening was filled with lot of crying faces. I dont know why all think that if u dont get placed in the first attempt then its all over. They are out of their mind. From my college around 170 or so attended the aptitude and out of that 49 cleared the aptitude. The next round was HR. It was scheduled to take place the next day i.e. Monday. So half of us reach our college and from there the college arranged bus for the 27 or so students and dropped us in Tagore for the final round (HR). We reached the college by 10.20 in the morning. The HR for my college was to start at 11.30. So we were asked to wait in the auditorium. They started calling students in groups and after an hour or so they called my name.
I went to a guy who had his ears pierced with two small ear rings. He was a huge guy. He started off with the expected question “Tell me about yourself”. I told him as it was supposed to be answered coz i heard about this question a lot of times. The guy next asked me one crore rupees question. He asked me “What will you do if i give you Rs.1,00,00,000?” Then he asked me “Will you blow the guy who made you angry (showing his fist)?” [I mentioned one of my weakness as shrot tempered].
Next question was a puzzle. And the HR round went for 10 or 15 minutes. It was a friendly chat. I dont know why they are conducting HR round like this…
Anyway…. Out of 49 from my college, 41 are placed in Infosys and i think it was the highest in Tagore on 10th march.

To get placed in infosys all you have to do is prepare well for aptitude and make sure your english is good and others can understand it while you speak with them.
My method is better.
